Unfortunately, this Nissan had reached the end of its life, it had too many issues to make repairing worthwhile.
I stripped it for the remaining parts.
Now I’m left with the chassis, and I want to do something with it.
The plan is to mount a camera on it.

To give the camera a flat spot to sit on, the necessary obstacles have been removed.
The pickup shoes have also been removed as they’re no longer needed.

The camera fits perfectly in that spot.
I chose to mount it on this empty chassis because the camera is quite heavy and gives the car a high center of gravity.
A motorized chassis would make that more difficult.

The camera is simply secured with zip ties, with enough ground clearance from the track.

Finally, it’s been given a foam rear bumper. This prevents the pushing vehicle from climbing onto the chassis and causing a deslot.

The track-cleaning truck is an excellent pusher with its large bumper.
