pic Start, long straight.
The beginning at Start/Finish. From here, the cars head onto the long straight towards the first corner.
They also pass this point at full speed during races, coming from the last corner before Start/Finish.
On the right is the pit lane. A speed limit applies in the pit lane.
At the end of the straight, just before the corner, there is an opportunity to overtake. This is where you can determine your strategy for the upcoming combination of corners where overtaking is not possible.

pic
pic Corner 1.
The first corner after Start/Finish. A very fast turn.
This corner has a slight banking which allows higher speeds compared to a flat turn.
Drivers should try to carry as much speed as possible through this corner for the next section.

pic
pic The Climb.
Right after the fast first corner comes the extended climb. Cars quickly lose momentum here, and drivers will need to accelerate to maintain speed.
Once at the top of The Climb, they’ll need to ease off the throttle because a tricky corner is coming up.

pic
pic Corner 2 (entry).
Here, drivers come straight off The Climb and need to find the right braking point to enter the corner.
The car’s speed and balance can catch you off guard here.
Do you take the inside or the outside line? It’s a decision that needs to be made already before entering the first corner.

pic
pic Corner 2 (exit).
This part of corner 2 deserves separate mention. It slopes downward, giving the cars extra momentum, so throttle control is crucial. Too much throttle, and you're off the track.
There is little room for error here, and as you exit the corner, speed will increase quickly.

pic
pic Steep descent.
Here, the track suddenly slopes down much more steeply. The speed you carry from the previous section is very important here. Right after the descent comes corner 3, a very sharp turn.

pic
pic Corner 3.
Which lane did you choose before corner 1? That choice matters especially here.
Once again, this is a corner where the car’s balance may not be what you expect due to the preceding slope.

pic
pic The Fast Underpass.
After corner 3 the cars can pick up quite a bit of speed here.
The small bends mean you can’t just go full throttle, the rear end might step out.
At the end of The Fast Underpass, there’s another opportunity to overtake or choose a different racing line.

pic
pic Corners 4 and 5, The Tight "S".
Corners 4 and 5 together form The Tight "S". Lane choice is important in this combination too.
Both lanes include an R1 and an R2 curve...but do you start with the R1, or end with it? That makes a difference, because during the switch from corner 4 to 5 your car can easily lose grip and slide out.

pic
pic Corner 6.
Corner 6, the final turn before Start/Finish. There will be heavy acceleration here again but be careful, this corner is flat.
On the approach to the turn there’s an opportunity to overtake or switch lanes.

pic
pic Finish.
Coming out of corner 6 the final straight lies ahead on the way to the Finish.
Here you have one last chance to switch lanes and overtake for an exciting photo finish — the race isn’t decided until the very last moment. Excitement all around.
From the beginning of this straight, you can also make your way to enter the pit lane.
